Katie is a licensed massage therapist with over 14 years in the spa and wellness field. A graduate of Branford Hall Career Institute, Katie went on to work in a wellness center alongside Chiropractors and Physical therapists, as a chiropractic assistant and licensed massage therapist specializing in sports and deep tissue massage. She later went on to learn the spa industry where she then advanced her knowledge by advancing her knowledge in aesthetics, as well as other massage modalities like hot stone, therapeutic massage, and numerous body treatments. She is now dual licensed in aesthetics as well as massage therapy, and is passionate about wellness in all aspects of the word. She has also found passion in business ownership, as it allows her the ability to help a broader range of people than she would have ever been able to help by herself. Work aside, she loves spending time with her husband, daughter, family, close friends, and fur babies. She also enjoys traveling, reading, and loves and a good laugh with the ones she loves the most.

HEATHER PERRA

Heather is a dually trained licensed massage therapist and aesthetician with over 25 years of experience in the spa industry. A graduate of Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy, Heather found her passion was in spa and wellness so she decided to continue her education in skin care. She went on to become licensed in aesthetics through the International Institute of Cosmetology and graduated in 2008. Heather yields many talents, she is a highly trained waxing specialist for both men and women, she is trained in nail care, and she also practices many interesting and innovative types of massage therapies including Ashiatsu, Lastone, and Mona Lomi. Heather has expanded her love for helping those in need with her business where she finds joy mentoring others in the path of wellness and giving them a safe place to thrive in a job they love. She enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time with her children, and dining out with friends. You can also find her jamming out to Dave Matthews Band any chance she can get.

Garet Bender

Garet grew up in a family of cosmetologists. He worked in salons and spas in CT and MA for years when he was young. Before returning to the spa industry, he worked at a restaurant for about 10 years. That is where he met Katie Kiss and became one of her local bartender friends, until he was promoted to the General Manager position. He has now decided to return to his roots and is our man behind the curtain at Eliana. When he is not working, he enjoys being outdoors, drinking wine and talking to his plants.

Sara Pereira

Sara’s love for the Spa Industry started at the young age of seventeen, while training as a nail technician at The Nail Spa in Ellington, CT. During her ten years at the nail salon, she studied massage therapy and graduated from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in 2003. Sara has worked in many different settings in the field since then, including working alongside a chiropractor, owning her own practice, teaching massage therapy for various programs in the state. Sara has continued education certificates in Hot Stone, Pre-natal Massage, Myofascial Release, and Cupping Therapy just to name a few. Her love of the spa setting has her coming to work with us at Del Soul Spa!

Lisa Grady

Lisa has been working in the skin care industry for nearly a decade, during which time she has gained knowledge and experience in all aspects of the skin. Since graduating The International Institute of Cosmetology, she continues her education with post graduate courses and certifications. To ensure her clients are getting the latest in products and services, her on-going studies include certifications in Dermaplaning, Farm House Fresh Certified Therapist, The Eminence Organic Skin Care Master Class, Saian Technique and Treatment on Acne and Candidiasis, she is also trained as a HydroPeptide Skincare Specialist, Hydrafacialist and recently with Procell Therapies MicroChanneling procedures as well as waxing.

As a skin care therapist, educating her clients on their skin is one of the most important aspects of her career. Lisa believes that by providing her clients with the tools and knowledge she can help each individual to reach their skin care goals. In her downtime Lisa loves to spend time with her family, go to the beach, find a random antique shop to explore and she is always looking for that perfect cup of coffee.

Natalie Griffin

Natalie’s passion is to blend science, legend, energetic health, and positive psychology into powerful programs for clients. Because of her diverse background, she is equally comfortable at work in a sweat lodge or in the board room. She has had the privilege to work with indigenous nations and corporate leaders in the U.S. and abroad. With over 7,000 hours coaching individuals and 10,000 hours leading transformational group sessions, she has the experience and expertise to help you crush your goals, feel good about yourself, and create the life you love.

She holds certificates in Shamanic Energy Healing, E-RYT 200 Yoga Teacher, Reiki, Ontological Coaching and holds the designation through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) of a Professional Certified Coach (PCC). Natalie has been teaching and coaching in Chile, Peru, Costa Rica, Croatia and North America.

Vanessa Segal

Vanessa Segal has +25 years in this amazing industry. As a native of South Africa, her training and certifications are from South Africa and abroad, including a diploma from Cidesco in Switzerland, the world’s most prestigious spa and beauty certification authority for aesthetics and beauty therapy. After living in the US for 22 years, she is also CT licensed and specializes in all skin care, including microdermabrasion and peels, waxing, lash lift, eyebrow / lash tinting and eyebrow shaping, as well as relaxation treatments to stimulate lymph circulation and promote a wonderful feeling of relaxation.

Olivia Galicia

Olivia has been an esthetician for over 11 years. She has a wealth of knowledge about skincare with extensive training in facials, skin care, waxing and eyelash extensions. She is a Certified Borboleta Eyelash Extension Artist and is very passionate about what she does. Olivia is also a Licensed Massage Therapist in California and has many years relaxing the California spa crowd. Olivia is a California girl at heart, still getting used to the unpredictable weather here on the East Coast. She loves working with people and is a perfect addition to our team!

Liz Petkis

Liz has been an esthetician just shy of a decade and has always practiced in small family-owned businesses. She is passionate about her work and has known she wanted to be in the beauty industry since high school. Liz will go out of her way to make you feel comfortable in any setting and she’s been told by clients she has “magic hands”. Liz specializes in full body waxing, facials, brow maintenance, HydraFacials, and body treatments. You can find Liz performing her services to the best of her ability and to the level that she would want to receive any service. In her spare time you can find Liz playing with her dog, taking care of her plants and garden, and always trying to make her friends and family laugh.

Sarah Gould

Sarah started her career in the beauty industry as a nail tech and makeup artist nearly 20 years ago. In 2018, she decided to pursue her passion in esthetics and became a licensed esthetician. Sarah is passionate about helping her clients feel their best and is known for her ability to leave clients relaxed, rejuvenated, and confident in their skin. Sarah will help educate her clients on a treatment plan that is best for them, as well as a proper at home care routine.
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, working out, traveling and hiking.

Susan Starr

Suzie brings over 14 years of massage experience and is a graduate of Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy’s Medical Massage Therapy program. Suzie is a LMT who worked in several medical-oriented settings before joining the spa industry, in turn her sessions combine effective treatment as well as relaxation. Her background includes massaging alongside Chiropractors, Physical Therapists, Athletic Trainers and in the hospice, hospital and spa settings. In addition to helping clients cope with built-up stress, she enjoys working with those suffering from injuries & chronic pain, and prenatal women. Suzie employs a range of techniques and modalities to provide relief and is certified in therapeutic cupping, hot stone and gua sha.

Suzie loves to learn and has been busy adding to her education in skincare! She is now fully trained in all things skin, and now offers all facials, as well as HydraFacial! She is excited to be able to add these to her list of services, to more completely serve her clients.

Rebecca has been a hard-working massage therapist for 4 years. Versed in modalities such as Therapeutic, Deep tissue, Hot Stones, Ashiatsu, Bamboo and prenatal massage. She has a passion for customizing each session into a unique personalized experience to enhance ROM, flexibility, pain management and bring overall stress levels down. She strives to further her education in orthopedics and continues to dream big in hopes to one day open a retreat of her own.

Shahariel “Shea” Gyurko

Shea graduated from Connecticut Center of Massage Therapy in 2015. Since graduating she has worked in chiropractic and spa settings. Shea enjoys creating a session specific to each client’s wants and needs. She likes to focus on alleviating pain while also creating a deeply relaxing state of being. Shea offers therapeutic, hot stone, deep tissue, prenatal and body treatments. Shea often utilizes gua sha and cupping in her sessions to achieve her clients therapeutic goals. She is excited to continue learning about the body and integrating new techniques into her massage therapy practice.

When not massaging, Shea can be found hiking with her dog or planning her next roadtrip!

Phil Ruggiero

Phillip graduated from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy after completing a Bachelor of Health Sciences from the University of Hartford. Currently, he is a fourth-year student at the University of Bridgeport completing his Doctorate of Chiropractic in May 2022. Over the years, he has worked for chiropractors, massaging the patient flow all while building his personnel client list. He enjoys targeting the patient’s needs during their session with experience in deep tissue and sports massage techniques.

Andrea Amato

Andrea has been a licensed massage therapist for almost 10 years. She graduated from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in 2010 and has been regularly working as a therapist since then. Her specialty and focus is on therapeutic deep tissue for orthopedic impairments, chronic pain, and minor soft tissue ailments from everyday repetitious strain or from previous injury. Her work is specific and geared towards rehabilitation and pain management, but she can also work the whole body to induce the parasympathetic nervous system for a complete mind/body relaxation. She has worked in medical and spa settings and incorporates aspects of both in each of her sessions. She is currently continuing her education to become a physical therapist’s assistant, so the added education in health and exercise science makes her well suited to deal with certain soft tissue impairments and joint immobilizations.

Maia Dubar

Maia is a 2017 graduate of Connecticut Center of Massage Therapy. She specializes in many modalities including Ashiatsu, Oncology, and Bamboo massage. Her goals as a therapist are to reduce the client’s pain and provide relaxation. Her clients often feel “an inch taller” after her sessions. Maia is certified in manual lymphatic drainage, and is currently working on receiving a health science degree to become a nurse practitioner. When she is not busy massaging or studying, you can find her painting abstract art or reading a good book.

Shante Berry

Shante is a licensed massage therapist who graduated from Cortiva in 2019. Trained in ashiatsu, hot and cold stone massage, prenatal, and more, She is always looking for ways to expand her growth as a massage therapist. Her goal is to create balance for each client in a way that addresses their concerns and leaves them feeling cared for, understood, and overall, relaxed. She enjoys finding new techniques to help heal the body with each customized massage. When she is not massaging, she is studying histology, finding new outdoor adventures, or finding new small businesses to support. She looks forward to having the opportunity to be involved with your relaxation, and wellness journey!

Jordana Costa

Jordana’s love for massage therapy began as a young girl while going to work at the spa with her Grandma, who is also a licensed massage therapist. After earning her massage therapy license in 2016, Jordana went on to open her own practice, where she learned how special it is to be a part of her clients’ self-care.

Jordana holds certifications in manual lymphatic drainage, prenatal massage, Yomassage, instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation, and more. While working as an LMT, Jordana also went on to earn her nursing assistant certification, which allowed her to gain confidence in working with the geriatric population. When she is not massaging, you can find Jordana practicing yoga, playing the piano, loving on her kitties and plants, and growing fresh veggies in her gardens.

Lisa Digirolamo

Lisa is a self-described science geek, fascinated by the human condition. With a background in psychology, she understands that the body and mind are inseparable, and that massage therapy can have a profound, positive impact on overall health.

Since graduating from the CT Center for Massage Therapy in 2007, Lisa has focused her bodywork style as a blend of Eastern and Western techniques, often doing deep, specific work and incorporating cupping or gua sha into her sessions. She has worked alongside acupuncturists, chiropractors, and physical therapists to ensure that her clients get the best care in achieving optimum mobility and function.

Lisa’s favorite tool for delivering her work is the FEET! Beginning her continuing education in Thai Massage, Ashiatsu Bar Therapy and Sarga Bodywork were therefore a natural progression in adding more tools to her skill set. Besides massage therapy, Lisa is also a Registered Yoga Teacher, an Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist, and an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach.

Colleen is a licensed massage therapist that has been enjoying and honing her craft since 2004. She specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Cupping, and Pregnancy Massage. Colleen loves showing her clients how good their bodies are supposed to feel.

She believes that regular massage is an integral part of one’s wellness routine and personally couldn’t live without it herself. When not massaging, Colleen teaches yoga, reads, plays tennis, raises a teenager, sells life insurance, stays active in her church, and relaxes with the best cat in the Universe, Bubbles.

Cora Sena

Cora has always been fascinated with the human body, how it works and most of all, the energy created by all living things. With an extensive background in biology, anatomy and chemistry in education and corporate healthcare, Cora pivoted to holistic medicine to offer new ways of relief and healing for a loved one after a cancer diagnosis. In practicing her new profession, she discovered that combining holistic modalities and utilizing food as medicine can facilitate truly amazing results. Educating and teaching people how to live a healthy lifestyle is now Cora’s passion. After receiving her Reflexology Certification from the International Institute of Reflexology and practicing other modalities like Light Therapy, Reiki, Vibration and Sound healing; she is a Certified Essential Oil Coach and is obtaining her MS degree in Functional Nutrition and sitting for the Licensed Holistic Practitioner exam with the AADP by early 2022. Spending time in nature, regardless if it’s on the beach or hiking in the woods is when Cora is most content.
